The critics are a bunch of idiots who have no sense of what is good movie making. This was an epic movie, with lots of beautiful scenery, true to life despair and sadness. You live the reality of what happened.
Also, the love story was beautiful, and you get the sense of sacrifice that was made by the people that lived it. A great, great, movie for adults with a heart and a brain. For those who don't think so, go watch spiderman or something.
