Review of The Promise (2017) by Ronda B — 29 Apr 2017
This movie features stellar acting and engaging personal stories set in a well-portrayed historical setting of the Armenian Genocide. Experiencing this portrayal is important for Armenians and non-Armenians alike; for all of us to understand on a human level what occurred then, as it did during the Jewish Holocaust, and as it does now in Syria.
A profoundly engaging film.
