Review of The Promise (2017) by Tom K — 01 May 2017
I watched this movie and found it to be quite breath taking and brought with it beautiful story telling. I enjoyed the mix of fiction with non, into a tale not uncommon to most who lived it. It brought tears to my eyes to see all the wonderful places I visited in order to gain insight into my roots and the harsh yesterdays they endured.
I would tell any person interested in history or how much the human plight has overcome to see this film at least once. I had this magical experience with a group of my friends some who knew little of the historical atrocities overcome by this group of people who are known still as Armenians.
