Review of The Promise (2017) by Andrew D — 07 May 2017
This is not a perfect movie. That said, I feel this is one of the most important movies to see. I have lived/worked in Turkey and Greece. I have seen the hatred still in todays Turkey against certain ethnic/religious groups.
I wish everyone in America and especially Turkey could see this film. I am sadden the critics were so hard on this film. They must like CGI effects and action characters. They do not have the brain power to see the importance of this film.
