Review of The Promise (2017) by Julie E — 30 May 2017
This was an amazing historical movie (and it takes a lot for me to sit through movies). As the granddaughter of an Armenian genocide survivor, I am glad this movie was made. I cried as I watched, wishing my family and millions of others had not gone through such horrible treatment and assassinations just for being peaceful Christians.
This movie brought back memories of the stories my grandma and great uncle told when growing up.
