Review of The Promise (2016) by Ian B — 26 Apr 2017
As a movie, it was good, not great, but good. The characters are emotionally invested from start to finish, the love triangle is pretty clunky but goes full circle in the end. This movie does exist pretty much to highlight the Armenian Genocide; there's never been a film that addressed this.
On the whole, it was good but the B plot is a bit forced.
