Review of The Promise (2016) by Annbd — 27 Jun 2018
Despite the acting, selection of actors and also unnecessary love tragedy, The Promise is successful film about the most beautiful nation with the most kind and principled people in the world - Armenians .
Until today, Turkey (then Ottoman Empire) does not admit its mistake and invent its history in relation not only to the Armenians, but to other countries as well.
As a Bulgarian, I'm sympathetic to a well-deserved hatred for Turkey and their insistent amendment to the world history. So let there be more such films in the name of the truth.
