The Prom is a feel good movie embodying a central theme of unity and togetherness that certainly has been lacking from the American landscape in 2020. It might not pack the emotional punch of a “Dear Evan Hansen” but it will leave you smiling and filled with serotonin to see such an all-star cast share the stage for a couple of escapist hours.
