Review of The Professionals (1966) by David P — 13 Feb 2010
A fairly typical western. The characters seemed to share a backstory that wasn't very well developed, but the movie was more about the action and plot than the characters. As with most westerns, the characters are not the main focus.
Burt Lancaster's character is the most fully developed and seems to have pangs of conscience from time to time. Overall, not a bad movie if you enjoy westerns, but don't look for anything too deep in it.
