Some people are able to get away with making comedy about certain subjects. Take for example, jokes about Nazis.
The Producers is onesuch film, with Mel Brooks being behind it.
The legendary production number, 'Springtime for Hitler', is in incredibly bad taste, since when this film was made, it had only been 23 years since World War 2 ended.
