Review of The Producers (1968) by Adam G — 22 Jun 2008
A sharp and clever satire with fantastic performances from the likes of Mostel, Wilder, Mars and Shawn, and a snappy script from Brooks. However, a slightly forced first half hour, a rushed last half hour, and some badly composed shooting mean that this satirical masterpiece isn't as sharp as it should be.
