Review of The Producers (1968) by Kenneth D — 03 Oct 2008
Great comedy from the timeless Mel Brooks and company.
Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder are brilliantly insane as a couple of scheming Broadway producers. Gene Wilder's portrayal of down-and-out accountant Leo Bloom is particularly memorable.
The additions of Kenneth Mars and Dick Shawn help make this Brooks film stand out.
