Review of The Producers (1968) by Ross M — 19 Jun 2010
Ingenius comedy from the master of genre, Mel Brooks. No one could rival his comedic spoof empire throughout the 60's and 70's, with such great classics as Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, the hit and miss but affectionate Hitchcock tribute High Anxiety and of course this, his remarkable debut and best film of his career.
Wilder's best performance, without a doubt, either in a Mel Brooks film or any other.
