The Producers is one of the most original comedies I have ever seen. It goes in the complete opposite direction as any comedy seen today, and the ambitions result in hilarity.
The screenplay is so clever and the filmmaking style is a good, stable one with no issues to it. Also, the whole film had a hilarious tone as well as great moments of laughter.
Also, the acting from Zero Mostel helped to create a great character, but the performance given by Gene Wilder is one of the respectable actors most finest. He was hilarious, and dramatic, and until and loose and he twisted in every direction. The Producers is one of the funniest films I have ever seen, and it's undoubtably one of the most influential and ambitious.
