Review of The Prodigies (2011) by Vuk O — 17 Jul 2012
The Prodigies features quite a few disturbing scenes, and I'm not easily disturbed. However, it's equally boring as it is disturbing. The basic premise of troubled teens having telekinetic powers has been over-done, and The Prodigies offers nothing new.
The characters aren't interesting at all, the same story has been told many times, and the CGI visuals - which should be the high point of this movie - would have worked equally well is this were a traditional animated film.
The average Anime movie is a couple of levels above The Prodigies, in every aspect. This film simply does not deliver.
