Review of The Prodigal Son (1981) by Movie K — 26 Nov 2008
Really action pack and exciting kung fu movie. Yuen Biao was a lousy fighter in the beginning but later learn Wing Chun from Lam Ching Ying and Sammo Hung, he became better and defeat Frankie Chan, who is of royal background.
His 2 servants tried to kill Lam before and near the end they succeeded. That's when Yuen Biao can't tolerate it anymore and challenge Frankie to a duel. Sammo only appear halfway through and for quite short while but his role is a funny Wing Chun expert.
He also teaches Yuen Biao quite a few theories and logic of kung fu and fighting. Totally action pack and exciting, pace is on the beat as well.
