A movie to love. Julianne Moore does a wonderful job portraying a woman with 10 children and an abusive, psychologically troubled husband in the '50s and '60s. This mother is amazing in the way she not only handles difficult situations, but turns them into positive memories for her children.
Woody Harrelson is a convincing out of control father, whose child-like incapabilities do win some amount of sympathy. A heart-warming and -tugging movie, the perfect choice for a circle of woman friends to enjoy together.
