I will admit that I didn't expect much from this movie, because the synopsis makes it sound very bland. Turns out it's one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time. It's hokey and often unrealistic, but it's heartwarming and uplifting in a way that really doesn't happen in movies much any more.
Woody Harrelson is phenomenal in his role- in fact, it may be the best work I've ever seen from him. Julianne Moore is perfectly cast, and the family's multitude of children add to the overall charm and appeal.
I loved everything about this movie.
