This movie surprised me alot.This whole movie is based on a true story of a huge family of 12 that are living in the 50's.Its about a mother/stay at home house wife that enter's all these contests so her and her family can live.Her husbund use to be a singer now he spends there money on bozze so she enters these contest's for chances to win food,drinks,cars and money to keep her family afloat.Julianne moore was amazing as Evelyn Ryan.Its got some crazy parts,funny and at the end gets depressing and quite sad.This poor simple lady has to keep 10 children strong as well as her husbund that acts like a real jerk when he's drunk.Its such a wild story that I couldnt believe it was true.But I read some info on the net and in different books after watching this,and its true.

This was a wonderful and enjoyable movie.worth checking out.
