Review of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009) by Noppawan A — 29 Jun 2010
A slightly new and impartial look at the events in one person's life throughout several decades and exactly how she got to where she is today. I like how discontinuity (timeline-jumping) spices up a film, like this one.
Robin Wright Penn never disappoints, as her acting is as genuine as it gets (The Princess Bride will remain 1 of my all-time favorites). I've always found Alan Arkin appealing on the screen, no matter who he's playing and what his actions & words or lack thereof.
Check him out in "Sunshine Cleaning" if you're in agreement with me.
