Review of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009) by Julie K — 11 Sep 2010
Being a big fan of Robin Wright Penn I had to see this film and what a really great film it is. This film had it all Romance, drama and great humour, this film is about Pippa lee a house wife who starts to have a sort of break down but comes to realise that she needs a change. All the other actors where great. I was really impressed with Blake Lively I think this is one of her best roles she really got into it.
It was really great to see a strong female character there doesn't seem to be enough of it. The director Rebecca Miller did an amazing job of putting this together. I was also impress with the fact that she wrote the novel first before putting it on film which you don't see much of a writer directing a film based on her book.
I really enjoyed this film, any one who likes strong smart characters would really like this movie.
