Review of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009) by Graham W — 23 Apr 2011
I've been putting off watching this movie for 2 months before finally saw it tonight. Interesting, but not sure if it's a good movie. Felt somewhat like a rant of a middle-aged woman, who has a lot of built-up frustration and mid-life crisis.
Very good acting by Robin Wright, Alan Arkin, and Blake Lively, nonetheless. Felt sorry for the fantastic cast of supporting characters, including Winona Rider, Keanu Reeves, and Monica Bellucci. Written and directed by Rebecca Miller, who's a daughter of THE Arthur Miller, so double the disappointment.
