Review of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009) by Chloe C — 30 Aug 2011
Arkin and Wright Penn play their roles very well as mentor-ingenue couple, and their exchanges are often humorous yet engaging. Reeves is a surprisingly good supporting role in this film, showing far more emotional range and better line-delivery than in the entire matrix saga.
Lively as the younger Pippa fails to really shine, and Ryder was downright irritating -- perhaps the intended effect.
