Review of The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970) by Louis F — 12 Feb 2008
Hilarious. Christopher Lee practically steals the movie but watching Stephens and Blakely go back and forth is where most of the charm in the film lies.
Pretty racy as far as Holmes films go, I mean, I haven't seen that many, but of the few that I've seen they haven't been obsessed with his homosexual tendencies and raging coke problem. Excellent film. Classic Wilder.
