Review of The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970) by Meghan M — 24 Dec 2008
Lacks the quality of Billy Wilder's earlier work largely due to an unfocused first half that concentrates on character and a rather convoluted plot-driven second half. The film would have been helped by being cut by 20mins or extended (if the reports of vital lost footage are to be believed).
