A big step down from the original. It had the cookie-cutter romantic plot and I'm very disappointed in where the author took the book series. I did like John Rhys-Davies, and hearing Julie Andrews sing again, even though she doesn't have her voice at full awesome because of that surgery incident, it was still nice to hear.
