Almost everyone I know can remember watching this movie with friends, growing up with this movie as a child and quoting this movie. It may have moments that parody fairy tale swashbuckling films, but the is a respectful adaption of the stories we know and love.
It takes elements of fantasy, romance and comedy. These elements blend perfectly.
