Review of The Princess and the Frog (2009) by Shirish G — 27 Sep 2011
Call me crazy or easy to please, but I absolutely loved Princess and the Frog. All I have to say is "Welcome back Disney". I truly missed the classic form of Disney, that is a morally enriched story sparkled with beautiful animation relatable characters and toe-tapping musical numbers, and this film has all of those elements.
It is a little different from other Disney Princess films such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast, but for its rather bizzare setting of New Orleans, Louisiana, it hit the classic nail right on the head.
I'm gonna go ahead and give this a perfect 5 stars, despite critics who say that it isn't as good as Disney Classics. Their opinions are meaningless to me.
