The best 2D animated Disney film of the decade. This isn't saying a whole lot since they stopped making them after Home on the Range flopped; but The Princess and the Frog brings Disney back. The animation is lush and the colors are splendid.
The characters might fall into stereoptype but they are entertaining and the songs are as good as anything the studio has given us in the past. As much as Hollywood has embraced New Orleans after Katrina, The Princess and the Frog could be the crowning jewel of the tribute.
It brings New Orleans to life with jazz and vibrant song. I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. Bravo Disney.
