Review of The Princess and the Frog (2009) by Stacy M — 15 Jan 2012
This film was amazing! It had all of the classic Disney elements with a few modern tweaks resulting in an animated masterpiece that surpasses The Lion King, Aladdin, and other Disney classics. Tiana is a great addition to the Disney Princesses. She is a strong independent woman who comes learn the true meaning of life present in all Disney films. Yes, hard work is needed to achieve any dreams a person may have, but what is life if you are not forming meaningfully relationships along the way. After all, isn't that how, for most of us, that we will be remembered long after we're gone.
The soundtrack to this film was also amazing. Then again by setting the film in New Orleans, a city known for jazz, this was not hard to accomplish.
