Disney vuelve a su tradicional receta para los cuentos de hadas con una princesa, su príncipe, animales que hablan, un hechizo y el beso que lo rompe, todo dentro de sus habituales musicales llenos de ritmo.
Pero tanto sus personajes como su historia habientados en una época y lugar que no tienen nada que ver con el cuento original, hacen que "The Princess and the Frog" pierda un poco de la fuerza que suelen tener las películas de cuentos de hadas que hace Disney.
