Review of The Princess and the Frog (2009) by Francisco R — 20 Jan 2013
Actually, I don't think this is an excellent movie, I mean, it was not to boring to watch it, but it was also not tottally entrtaining, Disney, Dreamworks, Columbia Pictures, Universal Pictures and Pixar are and have made so much good animated movies with actually a good animation and special effects, but come on, this kind of animation and special effects are an old thing, 2D animation is past, right? I'm not saying I didn't like this movie, I actually did, but, those songs in the middle of the movie and some other things were a bit bad for me, but I gotta say, the story was pretty clever, it's about a girl named Tiana who kisses a frog that says to her that he's a prince, she kisses him and she also turns into a frog, they will have to find a special person to break the spell, and then, as always, the two frogs fall in love.
I liked this movie, I really did, not Disney's best...it all, but I didn't mind to watch it, even though this movie is rated G, but not for young boys, but for young little girls, at least, that's what I think.
But, forget about all that, watch this movie, you will like it, but it's not gonna make you remind it and want to watch it again like big classic animation movies such as Toy Story, Kung Fu Panda and Shrek.
