I would proceed with caution on this one. I felt some of the visuals in this would have terrified children I know in this age group. I would recommend previewing this first and deciding whether some of the musical numbers would be far to dark for your youngster before letting them view it.
It was of course Disney quality and a well made film, but I question whether making it quite so scary for a G audience in some parts was a wise move.
