Review of The Prince of Tides (1991) by Justin L — 15 Feb 2009

I read the book first. The book is better. However, except for the gross love montage with Streisand and Nolte, this is a pretty good adaptation of Pat Conroy's novel. The movie focuses more on the relationship between Susan and Tom, and kind of leaves the history of the family on the side.

Worth a watch. Be ready to fast forward through the nasty love scenes.
