It is no surprise that Nolte won 3 best actor awards for his portrayal as "The Prince of Tides", by far he is one of the best actors ever. Streisand received some criticism for her depiction of the psychiatrist, but she pulled it off just fine, and the chemistry between these two is undeniable.

I love this heartwarming tearjerker showing opposites do attract when sharing the same serving of sad and lonely. Streisand did a fabulous job of combining romantic anecdote with the realness of tragedy.
