Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Em L — 10 Jun 2011

First of all -- WOW! What an amazing cast! I seriously do not remember there being this many big name actors in the film when I first watched it. Mind you, that was about 10 years ago. And I definitely had no idea that Val Kilmer played Moses AND God.

Lol. As far as the film itself goes, I quite liked it. And I'm not the religious type at all. What I did think though, was that it was too short. There was all this big build up with the relationship between Rameses and Moses and the scenes in the palace, that the end of the film with all God's wonders and that seemed to go way too quickly.

I know it's a kid's movie, but it could have been slightly longer. Also the songs weren't as good as Disney ones.
