Look at your life through heaven's eyes.

Moses was orphaned as a youth when his family leaves him in a basket on the Nile River. The queen finds him, adopts him, and raises him as one of her own. As a young adult, Moses finds out the truth of his past. God touches Moses and tells him he will rescue the Hebrews from Moses' adopted brother, the pharaoh, Ramsey. Moses doesn't wish to hurt his adopted family but he can't ignore the wishes of God.

"Ladies, you've cleaned every inch of me. Whoa! I was wrong.".

Brenda Chapman, director of Brave, delivers Prince of Egypt, in her directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is very good. The script is excellent and the character development is wonderful. The animation is solid and the voices are well selected and include Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfieffer, Danny Glover, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, and Patrick Stewart.

"God hasn't abandoned you so don't abandon us.".

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how great this cartoon was. I loved the story and the way it was delivered. The songs were pretty good, the script was excellent, and the characters were wonderful. This is definitely an excellent film that is worth adding to your DVD collection.

"No kingdom should be made on the backs of slaves.".
