Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Cj O — 27 Aug 2013
This is the most beautifully scripted and well-composed animated film of the 90's. The all-star voice acting and singing were past top-notch while the vivid visuals and animation blended well with the painful drama of the life of Moses.
The message of the movie is to do what's right no matter how much pain you go through, like the Book of Job. There are two inconsistincies with the actual historic event. 1: Aaron really didn't like Moses and would barely listen to him.
B: Aaron, Miriam, and Moses should've been in their 80's. Still, this movie has topped my original second favorite film, Anastasia. 98/100.
