Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Shawn T — 15 Jun 2012
Dark, moving and gripping, this animated take on a Biblical episode is a winner. The songs, especially "Deliver Us" and "When You Believe" are amazing. The animation is gorgeous and realistic, blending CGI and 2D to create memorable set pieces, like the Crossing of the Red Sea.
Overall, this movie is a true animated classic and one of my favourite non-Disney animated films.
