Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Hope O — 04 Jul 2012
Another film I remember during my late childhood.
Looking back at it now as an Adult. This actually still holds strong! It simply tells the tale of Moses but with stunning visuals and amazing voice work. Even though I'm not Christian, I was still able to recognize all the characters whom were also in the Bible. Such as Ramses III, Moses's Brother Aaron and Sister, Mirian.
Some of music score here is memeroable, my favorite being when the plagues strike Egypt. You are also seeing the torment in the relationship between Moses and Ramses....and holy crap, do they beautifully set this up. This is not only worth a watch for kids, but adults as well.
