Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Aubrey P — 11 Feb 2013

If I had to pick only one word to describe the Prince of Egypt, it would be...gorgeous. This movie is simply gorgeous, one of the best looking ones I've ever seen. The colors, the animation, the shots, the angles, the visuals, the storytelling, the music; it's just freaking unbelievable.

It's kind of sad that it's not as appreaciated because a lot of people tend to compare it to the classic "The Ten Commandments". But in my opinion, Prince of Egypt is just as good, if not better, than Ten Commandments.

They still manage to stay faithful to the story of Moses, while not telling it quite the same way as Ten Commandments with their own unique style and look.
