It may have used some imagination, but The Prince of Egypt is mostly a wonderful retelling of the famous Biblical story of Moses, packed with an all-star cast, dazzling CGI effects and visuals, a beautiful score composed by the tremendous Hans Zimmer and wonderful songs, especially one of the best songs of all time: "When You Believe.
" It explores themes of brotherhood, secrets, miracles, the powers of God and most of all, faith. It may have a few differences from the source material, but The Prince of Egypt is surely one to watch before dying.
