Review of The Prince of Egypt (1998) by Logan M — 22 Mar 2016

A benchmark in 1998 but kind of forgotten today, this was Dreamworks' first animated film and it is an underrated animated gem. The animation itself is wonderful, the voice acting is top-notch and the music is often stunning & epic.

More importantly, it works on an emotionally satisfying level especially on the aspect of Moses and Ramses as brothers. It might get serious for an animated movie but it is telling one of the greatest stories in human history and it tells it very well if not perfectly.
