The Prince of Egypt is the story of Moses who was set to drift in a basket by his own mother to save his life from the Pharaoh's army. The Pharaoh wanted to kill all Hebrew newborn boys to thin out the Hebrew for fear of rebellion. He was found by the queen of the Pharaoh and he was raised as one of their own and considered the Prince of Egypt. He was raised along with Rameses who was the true son of the Pharaoh. Rameses and Moses had chariot races and loved each other as normal brothers would.

Late one night, Moses holds a torch up against the caves walls which shows the Hebrew babies being discarded into pits. The Pharaoh says that the Hebrews were a weak race anyway. One day at the construction site Moses observed a Hebrew worker being whipped. Moses jumped in to save the Hebrew from getting whipped and ended up knocking the guard into the rail and he fell off the scaffold and died. Ramses tried to stop Moses from leaving and basically let him know it wasn't a big deal and he wouldn't let anything happen to him, but Moses does not listen and he starts running and goes into the dessert and starts hiking.

Moses ends up meeting a tribe of people that take him in as their own. One day God came to Moses through a burning bush and ordered him to return to Egypt and give the Pharaoh the message to let his people go. Moses returns to Egypt to warn the Pharaoh which is now Rameses of bad things happening if he does not let God's people go. God sends plagues, and the last one which was a death spirit to kill all the newborn sons. In this plague Rameses newborn son died which finally convinced him to let Moses and God's people go. The Prince of Egypt is related to World Relgions because it's about Judaism. It's based off of the Old Testament story of the God of Abraham coming to Moses ordering him to let his people go.
