Review of The Prestige (2006) by Robert S — 26 Nov 2012
There has been a lot of criticism for this film. I see nothing wrong with it at all. Christian Bale deserved an Oscar nomination for his performance as the twins Alfred and Fallon Borden, and Hugh Jackman was brilliant.
A classic rivalry film that shows the toll that obsession can inflict on your domestic life: and your sanity. Featuring two of my favorite film actors in an epic back and forth - one of my favorites.
