Review of The Prestige (2006) by Evan L — 17 Mar 2013
This movie has some of my favorite actors - Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale most notably but there is also Scarlett Johansen and Michael Caine. With such a great cast it pains me to say that this movie fell short in my book.
Perhaps had I not watched "The Illusionist" prior to it, I would have enjoyed it more. It's still a good rental with a great story - the greatest illusions are not the ones seen on stage but the ones we create in our own lives.
If you like it, I recommend also watching "The Illusionist".
