When it came out it was put up against 'The Illusionist' which apart from the 'magic' element is a completely different type of film. The prestige is another Christopher Nolan gem that draws you in and never lets go until the end.
With great performances from Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Michael Caine and a stellar supporting cast from Rebecca hall, Scarlett Johansson, Andy Serkis and a small but memorable turn by David'the thin white duke'Bowie, The prestige is a film that is truly magical.
