Review of The Prestige (2006) by Matthew H — 19 Aug 2014

"The Prestige is an interesting film about a rivalry between two magicians, but when the twist happens, you will be disappointed by its predictability, thus spoiling the rest of the movie". 5/10.

This is what I wrote while watching this movie, (I wrote it down about 5 minutes from the end) and I was going submit it as my review; until I saw the last three seconds of the movie. My rating has jumped to 8/10. I shall say no more, except that the greatest trick Nolan pulled on me was almost making me believe he had made a very predictable and dull movie. But, he continues to amaze me, as 3 seconds of a movie can make such a difference.
