Review of The Prestige (2006) by Jake A — 25 Jun 2017

Though this isn't my favorite Christopher Nolan film as the narrative is somewhat predictable and the motivations behind the two lead characters aren't explained in a satisfactory manner but it is entertaining, the cast is great, it looks gorgeous, it handles the back and forth between present and past brilliantly without ever feeling jarring and though the score is perhaps a little underwhelming it works perfectly within the context of the film.
