Review of The President's Analyst (1967) by Jeffrey P — 22 Dec 2007
Sixties curio doesn't age well - it feels more like a strained attempt to keep up with the changing tastes of audiences. Coburn seems miscast as a therapist assigned to the president, only to suffer a breakdown and drop out of society, pursued by agents from all over the world (including the phone company) for what he might know.
This all sounds more interesting than it actually is - a lot of oddball moments that mainly test your patience.
